Terms of Service
Last updated: October 22, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Walltide macOS app, the walltide.app website and related services (together, "Walltide", "we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using Walltide, or by buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use Walltide.
1. Who sells Walltide Pro
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Your purchase is also subject to the Paddle Buyer Terms.
2. The app and your account
- Walltide is free to use with a limited set of features. Walltide Pro unlocks the full wallpaper catalog and Pro features.
- Some features require a Walltide account. You're responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for activity on your account.
- You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent where you live, to create an account.
3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
- Walltide Pro is a subscription billed in advance every month (or another period shown at checkout) until you cancel. Prices are shown on our pricing page and at checkout; taxes may apply depending on your location.
- Each plan covers a set number of Macs (for example 1 or 3). You can move your seat between Macs from Settings → Account in the app.
- Your subscription renews automatically. You can cancel at any time from Walltide → Settings → Account → Manage subscription, from the link in your Paddle receipt, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future renewals; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for.
- We may change prices for future billing periods. We'll tell you in advance, and the new price applies from your next renewal after the notice; you can cancel before then.
- Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use Walltide on Macs you own or control, within the device limits of your plan. Wallpapers in the Walltide catalog are licensed for personal use as wallpapers within Walltide only. You may not resell, redistribute, extract or publicly share catalog content, or use it for commercial purposes.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share, sell or transfer your account, license key or Pro access to others, or bypass device limits;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app's licensing, except where the law allows this;
- scrape, bulk-download or mirror the catalog, or overload our servers;
- use custom wallpapers or uploads that you don't have the rights to, or that are illegal or harmful.
We may suspend or end access for accounts that break these Terms. If we end a paid subscription without a breach on your part, we'll refund the unused part of the current period.
6. Your content
If you use your own videos or images as wallpapers, they stay yours and stay on your Mac unless you choose to upload or share them. You're responsible for having the rights to use them.
7. Updates and availability
We update Walltide regularly and may add, change or remove features or catalog items. We aim to keep the service available, but we don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
Walltide is provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, and we're not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for losses beyond the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have as a consumer that can't be limited by law.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. If a change is significant, we'll let you know in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Walltide after that means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Greece, without affecting any mandatory consumer protection rights you have in the country where you live.
12. Contact
Questions about these Terms: walltide.app@gmail.com. For order, payment and refund questions you can also contact Paddle via paddle.net.
